WIC (Women, Infants and Children

Nutrition education and supplemental food for women, infants, and children up to five years of age who are income-eligible and have a nutritional need. Priority is given to pregnant women, infants, and breast-feeding mothers.

HEADSTART

Community-based child and family development programs for income-eligible families with children ages 3 to 5 living in Wright and Western Hennepin Counties

HOME WEATHERIZATION

Provides a variety of energy conservation services to income-eligible households. Priority is given to households that include seniors, children, persons with disabilities, and high fuel consumers

HOME REHABILITATION LOANS

Low-cost/no-cost financing for income-eligible homeowners to improve energy efficiency, safety, accessibility and habitability of their homes

HOME BUYER TRAINING

Provides awareness of and encourages participation in housing opportunities for low- and moderate-income people

FORECLOSURE-PREVENTION COUNSELING

No-cost program to help homeowners to understand their mortgage and find realistic options to prevent foreclosure, and to work with lenders to negotiate reasonable agreements

TRANSITIONAL HOUSING

Helping families find adequate housing, including limited financial rent assistance for income-eligible families who are currently homeless

FAMILY BUDGETING PROGRAM

Assistance in creating a personalized financial action plan based on an individual’s or family’s financial needs

MNSURE (Health Insurance) NAVIGATORS

Trained MNSURE navigators to walk people through the process of applying for and entering into health plans through the MNSURE Health Insurance Exchange

TAX PREPARATION

Trained volunteers available year-round to assist economically-disadvantaged and elderly residents

ENERGY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (EAP)

Assist income-eligible households with energy costs during the winter months
